DMG Digital has announced their entry into the group buying marketplace with the launch of getinquick.com.au, a website offering daily deals to their database.
getinquick.com.au will be promoted on-air and online across the Nova network; one of the most powerful media brands in Australia which dominates the lucrative 18-39 year-old demographic.
Launching in Brisbane, getinquick.com.au will enable local and national businesses the opportunity to showcase products and services to the social media savvy Nova audience.
Group Digital Director Rebekah Horne said DMG Digital has timed its entry into the group buying category following a lengthy review of the current industry.
“Our key learnings have placed dmg digital in a powerful position to launch a new group buying experience,” Horne said.
“Our goal is to be the leading group buying site in Australia for 18-39 year-olds offering quality targeted deals to our highly engaged audience.”
getinquick.com.au will launch in Brisbane today, Monday, 19 March 2012.
Subscribers will receive an email advising them of the daily deals and once minimum deal numbers are reached the deal becomes active.
The site will feature up to a maximum of six daily deals offered to the current 40,000 strong database.
A competition to win Lady Gaga tickets will encourage new subscribers.
getinquick.com.au is fully owned and operated by DMG Digital, a division of DMG Radio Australia which will roll out additional markets in coming months.
