DMG Radio Australia announces Cameron Daddo to join smoothfm and Kylie Minogue guest stars

DMG Radio Australia announced Cameron Daddo and Kylie Minogue as guest stars on smoothfm 95.3 in Sydney and smoothfm 91.5 in Melbourne.

Cameron Daddo is the latest high profile artist to join the smoothfm line up on Sundays with his debut show commencing on 21 October from 8am to 10am.

Australian Pop Princess Kylie Minogue will join Richard Wilkins on Saturday 27 October from 10am to 12 noon. In an Australian first, Kylie will disclose three big announcements and play her smooth favourites throughout the morning.

Cameron Daddo is currently starring in the stage production Legally Blonde and returns to Australia after relocating to Los Angeles almost 20 years ago. With big screen success for roles in films Anthrax, Big Momma's House 2, The Incredible Mrs Ritchie and David Lynch's Inland Empire, the Logie Award winner has also scored starring and guest roles in several US TV series. Not content to just act, Daddo has directed for television, produced several feature and short films and composed music for Passengers, his latest movie which he also produced and starred in.

Cameron says of joining the smoothfm family, “I am honoured to be part of the smoothfm team. It’s an amazing group of people; Richard Wilkins and Jason Donovan, great mates of mine, as well as David Reyne and David Campbell to name a few. Not surprisingly smoothfm is my first choice on the radio.”

Paul Jackson, DMG Radio Australia’s Group Program Director, said, “We are delighted that Australia’s favourite entertainers continue to choose smoothfm for their radio debut. Cameron is an incredibly accomplished international talent, and to have both Cameron and Kylie on the station, well it doesn’t get much bigger than that. We’re also excited to debut Kylie’s new song to smoothfm listeners”.

smoothfm’s playlist includes the greatest hits and contemporary easy listening music from artists such as Michael Bublé, George Michael, Ed Sheeran, Abba, Elton John, Adele, the Bee Gees, Bruno Mars and Jason Mraz.

smoothfm 95.3 and smoothfm 91.5 is Sydney and Melbourne’s easy place to relax.
