Nova 100’s new partnership with the Melbourne Cup Carnival 2011 kicks off this Saturday 29 October.
One of the most highly anticipated events in Melbourne; Nova 100 will capture all the excitement of the Melbourne Cup Carnival’s four feature race days.
Nova 100’s marquee is located in The Banks Precinct at Flemington with hospitality and live entertainment from DJ Jody McLeod on AAMI Victoria Derby Day and Emirates Melbourne Cup Day and Potbelleez on Crown Oaks Day. Nova 100’s live broadcasts throughout the Melbourne Cup Carnival 2011 are as follows:
Saturday 29 October - AAMI Victoria Derby Day
- Kelli Paun will be live from The Banks Precinct at Flemington from 11am to 3pm
Tuesday 1 November - Emirates Melbourne Cup Day
- Kelli Paun will broadcast from The Banks from 9am to 1pm
- Meshel, Tim & Marty, Nova’s national Drive show, will capture the atmosphere and colour of the races from The Banks from 4pm to 6pm
Thursday 3 November – Crown Oaks Day
- Nova 100’s Hughesy & Kate will hold their annual Ladies Day outside broadcast event from the Railway Hotel in Windsor from 6am to 9am.
- Dylan Lewis will be live from The Banks from 1pm to 4pm
Saturday 5 November – Emirates Stakes Day
- Kelli Paun will be live from The Banks Precinct from 10am to 3pm
Nova 100’s new partnership with the VRC’s 2011 Melbourne Cup Carnival complements the station’s commitment to Melbourne’s major events including a long history with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, FM radio partner for Australian Open 2010, 2011 and 2012 as well as a two year relationship with Mt Buller.
